Good to know

Everything homeowners ask us

Do you charge for the in-home measure?

No. The measure is free, and it is where we confirm exact square footage, check your subfloor, and bring room-matched samples so your quote is firm rather than a guess.

Is installation included in your per-square-foot pricing?

Yes. The square-foot bands we quote include professional installation by our own crew, not a subcontracted labor add-on. Subfloor repair or leveling, when needed, is called out separately so there are no surprises.

How long does a typical floor take to install?

Most single rooms are a one to two day job. A whole main level of luxury vinyl runs about three days, hardwood a little longer, and tile longer still because of cure time. Your measure appointment gives you a real timeline for your specific project.

We have dogs and kids. What do you recommend?

For most busy households we recommend rigid-core luxury vinyl with a 20-mil wear layer. It is fully waterproof, shrugs off dog nails and dropped toys, and the better lines are hard to tell from real oak.

Can our old hardwood be refinished instead of replaced?

Very often, yes, and for a fraction of replacement cost. If there is enough wear surface left above the tongue-and-groove, we can sand it back and refinish it dustlessly. We will tell you honestly if a floor is genuinely too far gone.

Do you really keep the dust down when sanding?

Our sanders connect to a sealed containment system that captures the fine dust at the source. Homeowners are routinely surprised they did not need to move out or hire a cleaning crew afterward.

What areas around Knoxville do you serve?

We serve Knoxville, Farragut, Bearden, Sequoyah Hills, West Hills, and the greater Knox County area from our Kingston Pike showroom.
